Join Madison County Conservation Outreach Coordinator, Jessie Lowry as she takes you through the steps of growing and caring for native plants. Jessie will highlight Keystone Species that play an outsized role in creating functioning ecosystems, like asters, goldenrods, sunflowers, and oak trees. She will share how to create a thriving landscape, no matter that size. Participants will receive free plants to add to their gardens.
This presentation is part of Madison County Conservation’s Cultivating Connections Project and is supported by the J.N. Darling Institute, Drake University, and REAP CEP.
