We are excited to bring you a weekend of fabulous learning and dancing opportunities! The Saturday events will be in the Community Building at the Madison County fairgrounds. It is the white building that is the Varied Industries building during the fair. It is behind the large red building in the front of the grounds. The morning begins with shopping of course, there will be plenty of quality new and gently used items to choose from!
Eliane Stone is the Director of Acceleration bellydance and fitness Company located in Omaha Nebraska. She is well versed in Traditional and Folkloric Bellydance forms and her vibrant personality will bring enthusiasm to your dance.
She will be teaching a Turkish Romani with skirt class! Learn all about the beautiful Turkish folkloric style. This style of dance includes fancy footwork, sassy hips, styled arm movements and gestures with pelvic drops and movement specific to this IndoAryan nomadic group.
All Romani music will be played during class which has an infectious and spice odd time signature.
We’ll start with arm gestures, and the meaning and cultures behind them, and move on to skirt work. A 25 yard minimum skirt is recommended and there will be a few extras to borrow if needed.
We will end the class by learning a fun mini combo to the music and with finger cymbals and practice 9/8 rhythms.
All levels of dancers are welcome and sure to benefit from this Folkloric class!

She is a fabulous FCBD dancer and instructor and is also certified in DanceCraft fusion created by Zoe Jakes. She is a very dynamic and strong dancer who will bring new concepts for your dance.
Are you a dancer looking to incorporate some Bellydance Fusion into your set?
