Crawl For A Cure - DTW
Formerly known as The Purple Buckeye Bar Crawl, we are excited to host another amazing event in beautiful DTW! All proceeds raised this year once again will benefit the American Cancer Society and Lake County Relay For Life. Our funds help with local cancer research at University Hospitals, as well as support patients with Hope Lodge Cleveland, and move us closer to a cure!
What started as something personal has grown into a day that brings so many people together for a cause that touches all of us. Every year we are blown away by the love and support it continues to receive.
Good Drinks, Greater Purpose.
The Purple Buckeyes are a Lake County Relay For Life team that was created in memory of the team captain’s father, Greg, whom ended his battle against pancreatic cancer in 2021. Greg loved spending a crisp fall Saturday in Downtown Willoughby, having a cold beer with his friends and family and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes play football at the many bars and restaurants. What a better way to celebrate a great man AND raise funds for the American Cancer Society than to have a bar crawl in the place he enjoyed most!

A very special thank you to all of these bars for being a part of such a special event, we couldn't do it without your yearly support.

General admission is $30.00 and includes a bar crawl shirt (unisex, 100% cotton, S-XL) and a custom beer koozie. Drink and food specials available at every bar within the crawl (for crawl-goers only)!
****To be guarenteed a shirt with your ticket, please purchase before 7/4!
Check-in: 11:30am @ The Wild Goose
Event: 12pm-5pm
****Tickets will be available for purchase ON EVENT DAY! However, shirts will be available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! We cannot guarentee you will recieve a shirt if you purchase your ticket after 7/4/25, thus your ticket will be discounted at the door.
MUST BE 21 TO PURCHASE TICKETS AND ATTEND!!! (ID's will be checked at check-in)
All participants will recieve a passport at check-in. Purchase a drink at each participating bar and your passport will be stamped! Visit all ___ bars and recieve your stamps! Once your passport has been fully stamped, return it to the marked box inside The Wild Goose for your chance to win 2 tickets to a Guardians game behind home plate (date yet to be chosen)!
Please be respectful, drink responsibly, and tip your bartenders well...let’s make this one for the books!!!
Relay For Life is a nationwide fundraising event created by The American Cancer Society that can be found in communities and college campuses around the US! Relay For Life funds assist the ACS in LOCAL cancer research as well as aide local programs that help cancer patients and their caregivers with transport and housing during their treatments.
