Following the success of his debut record Potential, I Guess?, Oliver Pinder returns with his second EP too late to tell you - out November 21st on Vinyl, Cassette, CD and Digital.Written about the moments that got away, too late to tell you is a collection of songs about the things we wish we’d said - the “too little too lates.” Whether that’s not speaking your truth when a relationship ends, losing someone before you had the chance to tell them how you felt, or just not being as open with your friends as you should’ve been - this record sits right in that quiet ache of unspoken words.
The 6-track EP includes singles ‘love of my life’, ‘lonely together’, and ‘haunted’, the latter of which was chosen as BBC Introducing’s Track of the Week. Each song captures Pinder’s signature blend of raw honesty and cinematic indie sound, while showcasing the growth of an artist unafraid to say what most people can’t.
Made specifically for vinyl, too late to tell you brings together two producers who each shaped a side of the record - James Kenosha (Cian Ducrot, Rhodes) on Side A and Mickey Dale (Embrace) on Side B. Though each side has its own sonic identity, the record remains rooted in Pinder’s world - intimate, emotional, and beautifully human.
To celebrate the release - and his first ever vinyl - Oliver is taking too late to tell you on the road for a 16-show run across 10 UK dates, performing in independent venues and record stores in London, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Glasgow, Liverpool, Sunderland, Hull, and beyond. Each show will take place in an independently run business, reflecting Oliver’s passion for championing grassroots spaces and keeping live music where it belongs - close to people.
The tour also includes a special visit to Kate’s Kitchen in Annan - the community food charity set up by Oliver’s godmother, who he sadly lost earlier this year. In her memory, 20% of the profits from the tour will be shared between Kate’s Kitchen and the Music Venue Trust, continuing Oliver’s mission to bring connection, care, and light back into local communities through music.
“This EP is a collection of songs that means the world to me. I’m a constant overthinker, meaning most things that come to mind rarely get let out - I often regret not saying things, so I put it into a concept that makes sense to me. Whether it’s things I didn’t say to my grandma before she died, things I should’ve said sooner to my friends, things I should’ve said to an ex, or things my other grandma didn’t say to my grandad before he died and even a love letter to my now fiancé.”
“I like to think this EP is dynamic. Every song is the type of music I love, you might not love it all, but I hope you can connect with at least one. That’d be a win to me anyway.”
With heartfelt storytelling and a community-driven approach to releasing music, too late to tell you marks another step forward for indie’s future sensation Oliver Pinder - an artist defined by empathy, honesty, and the ability to turn quiet reflections into something powerfully human.
