Welcome to The Crafty Book Club ✂️📖✨
If you’ve joined us for a craft event before, you already know we’re all about cozy vibes, cute projects, chatting about what everyone is reading, and creating a fun and memorable time together. We'll work on junk journaling during this meet-up with a zero-pressure or experience-needed workshop.
✨Your Host: The Crafty Book Club—is a craft club created by Kimberly Marcy, owner of local bookstore Flirting With Fiction. With a love for crafting anything and everything, Kimberly creates fun, welcoming spaces for women across Vancouver to connect, make new friends, and nurture creativity without intimidation.
Your ticket includes:
🔮 Mystery Scraps Bag: A curated mix of washi tape, magazine clippings, stickers, and unique scrapbooking ephemera—perfect for adding layers and texture to your junk journals and collages!
🖌 Craft Supplies: Your ticket covers all the crafty essentials—scissors, tape rollers, photo printer*, glue, paint markers, cute stickers, unique scrap paper, washi tape heaven, and more! This is a BYOJournal event. Don't you have one? We'll have some for sale at the event.
Feel free to bring any of your favorite supplies to swap and share.
📖 Photo Flip Card Tutorial & Template: A template & guided walkthru on how to create a photo flip card to add some fun, interactive layers to your journal pages!
✨ Community Space: A fun, relaxed atmosphere to craft, chat, and create alongside others in the community.
Snacks, wine, and nonalcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.
