Craftivism Night @ The Royal Oak

DIY with us on May 9th! We're making decorations, shirts, prints, patches, etc... for our Queer Utopias Exhibit and Dance Night on May 16th.

NOTE THAT your crafted items will be sold at Queer Utopias to help raise money for Scottish Trans and Abdul Rahman Ahmed Al-Kurd's Family in Gaza.

Collaging Materials will be provided, but please bring your own craftting supplies if you have any! (scissors, glue, paint, thread, needles, magazines, brushes, stickers, crayons, yarn, beads, textiles, patches, ETC!)

Inspired heavily by amazing local Edinburgh Bookshop Lighthouse Books postcard's for Palestine event and Betsy Greer's term of "Craftivism", We feel it significant as a socially engaged art group to come together through historically queer methods such as collective craftting and creation!
