ARTIST TALK | 11.00am - 12.00pm
Crafting Power: The Creative Journey of Suburban Superheroes
Join us for an artist talk diving deep into the creative process behind the Suburban Superheroes exhibition. Facilitated by Claudie Frock and featuring key creative collaborators Daniele Constance, Sarah Lewis (Lewis), and Sprung Ensemble members, discover how ordinary suburban spaces become a canvas for extraordinary storytelling through costume-making, photography and site-specific work. Hear the way themes of imagination, identity and community shape each piece, and transform everyday experiences into powerful narrative, and how these artists were inspired by their connection to local spaces in Ballina.
This event will be Auslan interpreted.
Suburban Superheroes is on show at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery from 16 October to 8 December 2024.
