Foil chip and biscuit packets can’t be recycled in your yellow bin, but they can be reused to help people in need!As part of our Sustainability Series we will be running this special session in collaboration with the Chip Packet Project, a nationwide project that saves foil packets from landfill and turns them into blankets which are distributed to people experiencing homelessness or natural emergencies.
Join us to learn how your single-use foil packets can be turned into a survival-style emergency blanket.
No need to bring anything as all materials will be supplied, however if you have empty foil packets at home that you’d like to use do bring them along! You’ll just need to make sure they’re clean and dry. (CPP have a great video on how to easily clean your packets on their Facebook page).
