Join us for a workshop in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood to explore your inner world during life transitions through the art of collage.
About this Event

Are you navigating a transition in your life? Are you feeling stuck or disappointed that things are not going your way? Change is inevitable, but the way we move through change can help us get to where we want to be.

Join Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teaching Artists Aistė Rye and Burl Norville for this pop-up therapeutic art workshop "Crafting Change" to connect to your intuition and explore your vision for your future through collage.

During the workshop, you will use art materials like vintage magazines, paper, scissors, markers, and watercolor paint to let your inner child explore. By the end of this workshop, you will have created a vision board applying the art of collage with the guidance of the Teaching Artists.

No artistic experience is necessary – just an open mind and willingness to explore! Community workshops at The Spirit Lab are designed to be fun and engaging, allowing you time to rest, reflect, and experiment with different art supplies and techniques.

“There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost. The world will not have it." - Martha Graham, American Modern Dancer & Choreographer
