About this Event
Discover the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and bring the power of natural herbs into your modern life! In TCM, the aromatic properties of herbs are believed to regulate energy flow, balance the body, and soothe the mind through inhalation and absorption. This hands-on workshop offers the opportunity to craft personalized herb sachets with real therapeutic benefits.
In this immersive and fragrant experience, you will:
- Learn foundational TCM principles: Understand how herbs interact with the body’s energy (Qi) to support physical and emotional well-being.
- Explore 6 classic Chinese herbs: Identify, touch, and smell Mugwort (Ai Ye), Mint, Dried Tangerine Peel, Clove, Cinnamon, and Lavender while learning their traditional uses and modern applications.
- Design a custom sachet: Use guided recipe frameworks to create sachets tailored to your goals—calming the mind, boosting focus, purifying the air, or supporting immunity.
- Craft one functional sachet: Make one for your bedroom to promote restful sleep or place one at your desk as a daily wellness companion.
- Practice simple acupressure techniques: Learn easy-to-apply pressure points on the hands or head to enhance your sachet’s effects and relieve stress.
