OCD & CRAFT WORKS | WHISKY TASTING
Join us for a tasting of both chalk and cheese, as we explore OTTER CRAFT DISTILLING (OCD) and CRAFT WORKS. Two NSW distilleries that couldn't be more different from each other.
Both distillers (Ed and Crafty) will be joining us for the evening.
Otter Craft Distilling (OCD) is a small-batch operation out of Lilyfield in Sydney's inner west, co-founded by brother and sister Eduard and Julie Otter. Using single malt barley sourced from the NSW Riverina and hand-designed copper stills, OCD produces fruit-forward, approachable whiskies with a strong focus on traceable, sustainably sourced ingredients. An uncompromising approach resulting in serious quality spirits.
Craft Works Distillery is the one-person operation / fever dream of the man only known as Crafty. A small operation run out of a tin shed on the edge of the beautiful Capertee Valley. Using a copper pot still fabricated in NSW, local spring water and NSW malted barley, Crafty mills, brews, distils and barrels everything himself. The result is full-bodied, unpredictable whiskies with serious quality behind the chaos.
