$Craft Night + Carabiner Decoration Workshop w\/ Sappho's Friends$

Welcome to monthly craft nights for queer women, non-binary and trans people.
Each month we will have one or more workshops, but you can also bring your own project or start a new one depending on the available materials.
We will be serving tea and maybe some snacks, but feel free to bring anything (vegan) to share!
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
Carabiner decoration workshop is back by popular demand 🔥
What: This workshop is for painting/decorating carabiners
Why: The idea is to signal your k!nks, identity and preferences in a simple way by placing colour-coded carabiners on your left or right side of your hip (like the handkerchief code but for queer women and nb folks). As with the OG handkerchief code, its purpose is to make it easier to spot a cutie you might have a great connection with, and serve as an ice breaker for further exploration. Wearing carabiners might make it easier for others to approach you. This code is for sapphics by sapphics! June this year was the first workshop where we finalized the first version with input from the community.We really hope it will continue to catch on and that people will use them for events or in everyday life.
How: Come paint carabiners with us. Bring your own plain carabiners (you can get them cheap from for example Clas Ohlson) and we will provide the paint (we will have some small carabiners for participants, just can't guarantee it's enough)
