Want to start a new hobby? Then come and join Vikings of Middle England, a group of Viking-history enthusiasts. We work together to put on public demonstrations and performances all over the UK, and have a great time doing it!
This month we're holding mini-workshops to provide an opportunity to have a go at a varierty of Viking-age crafts in a safe and friendly environment. Many of our members practice skills from jewellery making, spinning, weaving and braiding, calligraphy and more. This is the session to have a go at a lot of different things in one go!
For prospective members, it's also an opportunity to chat with the members and find out more about what we do! Perhaps you'd like to start a historical craft, or learn how to Fight like a Viking, or just get dressed up in historical costume – see what's right for you!
This session is free of charge!
Vikings of Middle England meet weekly at the same time and place, either to practice new crafts, learn about Viking-age history, or train in our combat skills. There's loads of things to do for all ages and abilities.
Membership is £12.50 a month (first session is free) or £75 a year.
