Join artist and maker Molly Koehn for a Craft Happy Hour! Participants will explore the time-honored techniques of broom making.In this workshop, participants will learn how to bind and shape broomcorn into a beautifully crafted and functional hand broom, also known as a whisk broom. In addition, you will learn about the process of cultivating broomcorn, a Sorghum grass, from seed to broom. Each participant will go home with seeds to plant of their own and at least one finished broom.
All materials provided. Must be 18 or older to attend. Adult beverages and zero proof drinks are included in registration fee.
