Family Easter Workshop: Forage, Learn & Decorate Eggs with Spring Greens
Step behind the scenes of a real foraging company this Easter and join us for a truly special seasonal activity inspired by a beautiful Eastern European tradition.
What to expect
On your way to the event, children are encouraged to look for signs of spring — fresh green leaves, tiny flowers, and interesting plants. Bring your finds along and we’ll help identify them together, sharing which are edible, useful, or simply fascinating in the wild.
Then the magic begins…
Using real eggs laid by our own garden chickens, children will create stunning natural Easter decorations. We’ll carefully place leaves onto the eggs, wrap them in muslin, and dye them in hot water. When unwrapped, each egg reveals delicate natural patterns — no two the same, each one a little work of art to take home.
All materials are provided, including pre-boiled eggs.
Relax in our garden
If the weather is kind, families are welcome to relax in our peaceful garden filled with ponds, wildlife, and plenty of seating. Meet the chickens who laid your egg, feed them, and enjoy a quiet moment while your designs come to life.
Hot drinks, teas, coffees and hot chocolate will be available at friendly prices (cash payment only).
Why join us?
