Hosted by Carol P. Join us for a relaxing day of urban sketching at the Cradle of Forestry—the birthplace of modern forestry in America. This historic site features preserved early forestry buildings (1898 - 1914), scenic forest trails, and a beautiful blend of nature and history, making it a perfect spot for sketching. We’ll begin with a 15–20 minute demo and talk by Carol P., who will share tips and techniques for sketching trees to help you capture the character of the forest. Afterward, we’ll spread out and sketch at our own pace. All skill levels are welcome—bring your favorite materials and enjoy a creative day outdoors! 🌿✏️There is a $10 entrance fee for the Cradle of Forestry ($5 for children). If you are a library card holder, you can try for a Zoom pass for free admittance: https://www.buncombenc.gov/315/ZOOM-Pass
