The Crackpots Trail Run is an award-winning event for runners of all abilities, set on a mixed terrain route starting from the village of Kirkby Malzeard, near Ripon, North Yorkshire. Race starts at 10.30 on Sunday 7 June 2026.Tackle quiet country roads, off-road trails, scenic moorland and a few river crossings within the stunning Nidderdale AONB — then stick around for the party.
The run is part of the KM Family Festival with street food, a real ale bar, live music, an artisan market and loads more. Now in its fourth year, the Crackpots Trail Run has back-to-back Racecheck Gold Awards for 2023 and 2024 — and a reputation to match.
