Join C.R. Langille as she discusses her new queer/cosmic/wilderness horror book, The Worms Shall Feast with Caryn Larrinaga, bestselling author of When You Wish Upon the Dark. There's sure to be some laughs, stories of Langille's time in the woods, and general shenanery.
This event is free to attend. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and masks are required and provided. ASL interpretation can be provided with 2 weeks advance notice. Please reach out with any accessibility needs.

The prize is $500,000. The game is to be the last one left. The cost… is everything.
Trevor Hasting is on the brink of losing it all. Lucy Bingham is ready to build a future for herself and break away from her cursed past. For both, the reality television show is more than a test of skills, it’s a chance to start over.
Yet as Trevor, Lucy, and the other contestants start the game, everything changes. Food is scarce. A strange red moss strangles the landscape. And something stalks the deep timber, taking the survivalists out one-by-one.
While the show’s producers watch from afar, a ritual older than the Earth itself begins to unfold. To survive, Trevor and Lucy will not only have to battle the elements but also the antlered creature stalking them, or they’ll find out what drives the worms to feast.
About C.R. Langille
C.R. Langille spent many a Saturday afternoon watching monster movies with her mom, a tradition that would eventually lead a queer, transgender woman to find her voice as an award-winning horror author. Langille is the founder of Timber Ghost Press, holds an MFA: Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University, is an affiliate member of the Horror Writers Association, and serves as the DEI Chair for the League of Utah Writers, where she was also named Editor of the Year in 2024.
