CPR & AED: Adult, Child & Infant - Feb 15, Eastman Lodge, Kingsport, TNOur ASHI CPR & AED course teaches participants how to recognize cardiac arrest, activate emergency medical services and respond appropriately until additional assistance arrives. It also covers how to respond to urgent choking situations. An excellent choice for the community, workplace and outdoor setting, this training is an important life skill that will provide the peace-of-mind to handle an emergency when care is needed and seconds count. Class includes Adult, Child & Infant. This CPR and AED course conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. If you'd like to expand your medical skills further and prepare yourself to more broadly provide assistance in an emergency, we will be holding our Wilderness First Aid class that same weekend on Feb 15-16 at the Eastman Lodge. About the instructor:
Adam Herzog is a highly experienced medical professional with 20+ years as a paramedic, trauma nurse and trauma educator. He is also an accomplished whitewater kayaker and instructor, having notched multiple podium finishes in some of the Southeast's best-known races.
