CPG 2025 STUDIO VISIT 001: VIDA SAČIĆ

Every month, The Chicago Printers Guild invites our members and community to get a look at where printmakers across our beautiful city get their hands dirty. ALL are welcome to join us for our first studio visit of 2025 with printmaker and typographer Vida Sačić.

Vida has invited us to her workspace at Mana Contemporary where she will share some pieces, show off her equipment, and give us all a closer look at her process.

Vida is currently a professor at the Northeastern Illinois University Art + Design Department, and her personal work brings together color and type to share how the immigrant experience and the American Dream align. Her work is currently on view at the Newberry Library as part of their “Making an Impression: Immigrant Printing in Chicago” exhibition open through Mar 29, 2025.
