🏐 $0 Budget Co-ed Grass 4s Volleyball Tournament 🌿Enjoy a chill afternoon of grass volleyball, tournament-style! This is an informal, self-ref tournament. The prize for 1st place (and every place) is pride ⭐️
Age Restriction: Adult (18+) for now
📍 Location
NE corner of City Park (we’ll set up wherever there’s good grass + space)
📅 Date
Saturday, May 2 (weather-dependent)
⏰ Time
12:30 PM – Check-in + help set up
1:00 PM – First serve
🏐 Format
Co-ed 4s (minimum 2 women on the court at all times)
Divisions: depending on signups
-> possibly will have three levels B // BB // A. If not enough teams, then we’ll do Upper (3+ A/BB players) & Lower (<3 A/BB players).
Sign-ups are first come first serve (lol pun). Max number of teams will depend on how many nets we have available. Will likely do double elimination, or pool play followed by single elimination.
📏 Rules (Grass 4s style) include: No open-hand receives, Server must stay behind the 10-ft line (no jumping past it), Standard volleyball rules apply otherwise

Be cool – keep it fun and respectful
Be safe – don’t go under the net, avoid contact, play smart
Be honest – self-ref, call your own touches
✍️ How to Sign Up
Check the Discussion tab. I’ll have 3 sign-up threads:
-> Full Teams: Comment with your team name (optional), players, and level (Upper or Lower)
-> Partial Teams: List who you have, division, + how many you need. I’ll match you with free agents, or you can snag one yourself by responding to their comment.
-> Free Agents: Comment with your name + level. If there is capacity, I’ll place you on a team or form a new one
👉 I’ll keep all threads updated so you can see what’s forming in real time
