BIO:
Born and raised in the heart of the Lonestar State, Cowgirl Clue is an artist, electronic producer, and singer songwriter best known for her eclectic, electronic music and esoterically-trendsetting visuals. Taking influence from her experience as an underground DJ in her teenage years; Ashley blends classic rave sounds stylized with twangy country guitars, witch house saws and electropop elements, she often refers to her sound as “Y’allternative Music”.

Cowgirl Clue’s earliest release, “Cherry Jubilee” showcases her creative soar with drum and bass meets sugary vocals. Her debut album in 2019, Icebreaker was an introduction to her Y2K revival sound that captured a niche, stylish audience.

Her most recent sophomore album, Rodeo Star released in August of 2023 diving deeper into her Southern roots with twangy guitar tones and hard techno bass styles. From her unique take on Country Pop, songs like “Trailblaze ☆” and “Gold Switchblade” to her more electronic based songs like “$somethin’s in The Air” and “Picket Fence”, Ashley demonstrates a vast range of expression to make for an culture defining and meaningful album. Cowgirl Clue’s live performances are often considered highly energetic, mystical and punk. Cowgirl Clue is a longtime asset and contributor to California based collective, Vada Vada. She ignites her ability to innovate genres while articulating suburban-fantasy-nostalgia in a present day fashion. Her carving sound and visual world has been known to be quite influential among the internet. Cowgirl Clue has shared the stage with acts such as Crystal Castles, Sky Ferriera, The Garden, White Ring, Enjoy, Kumo 99, MGNA CRRTA and more.
