At Coulee Montessori, learning is rooted in more than textbooks.
Join us for our 5th Annual Coulee Montessori Plant Sale, a joyful celebration of growth, creativity, and community. Students spend months planning, planting, and preparing more than 2,000 beautiful items, including:
🪴 Houseplants and veggie starters
🌸 Native Driftless perennials
🎨 Handmade art, macrame hangers, and fertilizers
Every leaf and bloom tells a story of discovery. Students learn science, teamwork, responsibility, and business skills—all while helping something real take root.
“This project is so much more than a fundraiser,” says teacher Mariah Bigelow. “It’s about giving students a sense of belonging, purpose, and pride. Every student plays a role. Every student matters.”
Proceeds from the sale help our year-round greenhouse program continue to grow and flourish. This year’s funds will go toward adding a shade structure on the playground. Thanks to the community’s strong support over the years, the plant sale has already helped add playground swings and build a full-sized greenhouse—a bright, thriving space where learning comes to life.
Events like this help our students connect learning with life. They grow confidence, curiosity, and care for their school, their community, and each other.
