A simple monthly ride across town, following the same route each time. It’s short and easy, and it’s almost entirely traffic-free. It’s even broken into sections with timed stops like a bus route, so you can join us for as much or as little of it as you like!It’s ideal for anyone who’s new to cycling, or for anyone who’d like to get to know the town a bit better by bike. It’s also a great way to meet like-minded people!
We’ll set off from from Costa in North Petherton at 2pm and follow the complete north-south bike route across Bridgwater to Costa at Dunball. We stop for a cuppa, then do it all in reverse!
You can join the ride part way through as well, as there are two timed stops along the route: Blake Gardens and King Sedgemoor Inn (opposite Morrisons Manufacturing). Here are the timings:
14.00 depart Costa North Petherton
14.15 depart Blake Gardens
14.30 depart King Sedgemoor Inn bus stop
14.40 arrive Costa Dunball
15.15 depart Costa Dunball
15.25 depart King Sedgemoor Inn
15.40 depart Blake Gardens
16.00 arrive Costa North Petherton
If you want to join us at one of these points, just make sure you’re there a few minutes beforehand, as we won’t hang around!
