In 2016 a multi-million-rand pedestrian bridge was built over a very busy Malibongwe Drive to provide a safer and more convenient pedestrian crossing which is also cycle and wheelchair friendly. The expansion of Cosmo Mall will see the addition of two new anchors - Shoprite and Boxer complementing the already existing anchor Pick ‘n Pay. This will cater for the needs of the expanding residential growth in the area.
The new extension will add a much needed 18000m² of GLA taking the centre up to approximately 40000m² with new stores including The Fix JAM Clothing FBO Nando’s Hungry Lion Totalsports Queenspark and JET Home!
