What’s Included?
* Dedicated workstation: Your own area to spread out and stay organized while you work, which includes a sewing machine and ample desk space, thread for the sewing machine, tools and notions, many free supplies, and refreshments.
* All our equipment: Use of our sewing machines, large (and high!) cutting tables, heavy steam irons, and specialized sewing machines — perfect for getting those professional finishes. Includes access to a comfortable toilet and big mirrors where you can try on your cosplay.
* Fabrics & haberdashery: We have a selection of fabrics, supplies, and haberdashery items available for you to use during your session. (A small donation for any materials used is greatly appreciated to help us keep the stash stocked!)
* Peer support: Your host, Mara, will be on hand throughout the session to offer support. As an experienced sewer (though not a teacher!), she can provide helpful advice, assist with tricky fittings, and point you toward excellent books or websites for specific techniques to apply to your makes. She will also show you how to thread the sewing machine and operate all the equipment safely.
* The vibe: A welcoming, open-concept atmosphere ideal for cosplayers to work in without feeling out of place.
