Join us for a special Sunday at the studio with cosmic vibrations on vinyl selected by Ian Rock, a NYC record collector, DJ, and curator with over 30 years of broadening the music palette of listeners across radio, park parties, and lounges.We'll be astro traveling, exploring the sounds of spiritual jazz, afrofuturist funk, and psychedelic soul. The studio's sound system was designed specifically for warm, extended listening and this musical journey will take it to new realms and territories of sonics.
This soundtrack perfectly compliments the locally roasted, small batch specialty coffee and creative concoctions served at our cafe.
There will also be used jazz vinyl from Warren Buchholz of WUSF Jazz — with all proceeds donated to their program — and Ian Rock's personal collection.
