About this Event
Cosmic Cherry is an annual arts festival celebrating femininity, queerness, and gender expression showcasing new theatrical, performative and visual works by femme, trans and genderqueer emerging artists. Cosmic Cherry blends the magical creative energy our artists bring with a powerful punch of moxie. With a new theme each year, 2026’s theme CARNAVAL, celebrates femme and queer joy as a radical act of liberation, building a vibrant, safe space for our communities to express pride, pleasure, and authenticity. We’re inviting our artists to shed their inhibitions, embrace their weirdness, and let their freak flags fly. Get ready for a cosmic bacchanal that’s weird, wonderful, and wildly liberating.
This year's festival will take place at the Court Square Theatre in LIC from April 9-11, 2026 featuring an INCREDIBLE slate of drag queens, performing artists, visual arts, vendors, DJ'd nightlife and so much more!
Tickets are $25 all-inclusive for show and afterparty. All profits go towards Outright International, a non-profit organization that utright International advocates, supports, educates, and celebrates the global LGBTQ+ communities to produce social, cultural, and legal change. Learn more here.
