The COSI Science Festival is touching down in Grove City, and we’re launching into summer with two events full of science, fun and community!Explore SWACO with Trash to Treasure
Did you know each resident in Franklin County averages four to five pounds of waste daily? Have you ever wondered where that waste goes?
Join SWACO and Grove City Parks and Recreation to learn about science of trash by touring a modern-day landfill to observe the operation first-hand and use recycled material to make a treasure.
When: Thursday, April 30, 3-5:30 p.m.
Where: SWACO Education & Resource Center, 6153 Young Road
BONUS: Snag a COSI Learning Lunchbox — while supplies last!
Participate in hands-on activities at the SWACO Education Resource Center. All activities are free, but registration for the landfill tours is needed to hold your seat. Spaces for the tour are limited.
