Henry je původem z Brooklynu, kde začal hrát už jako dítě na Hammond B3, později se stal klíčovým členem Snarky Puppy a se skupinou získal první Grammy. V roce 2018 zahájil sólovou kariéru a od té doby sklízí úspěchy napříč hudební scénou. Jeho alba Art of Love a Something to Say otevřela dveře k mezinárodnímu respektu — druhé z nich bylo nominováno na Grammy v kategorii Best Progressive R&B Album (2022).
Spolupracoval s umělci zvučných jmen: Kanye West, Rosalía, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, a to je jen začátek výčtu. V roce 2025 získal poprvé Grammy za svlé vlastní album - Church, které potvrdilo jeho pozici jednoho z nejzásadnějších současných hudebních tvůrců.

Cory Henry, a true crowd favorite, returns to Brno. He is one of the most distinctive musical figures of today — a multi-Grammy winner, a keyboard phenomenon, composer, producer, and performer who can get even the most grounded listener to move. A musician often described, without exaggeration, as someone who “comes from another planet.”
Henry was born in Brooklyn, where he began playing the Hammond B3 as a child. He later became a key member of Snarky Puppy, earning his first Grammy with the group. In 2018 he launched his solo career, and since then he has been collecting successes across the music world. His albums Art of Love and Something to Say opened the door to international recognition — with the latter nominated for a Grammy in the category of Best Progressive R&B Album (2022).
He has collaborated with artists of the highest caliber: Kanye West, Rosalía, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen — and that’s only the beginning of the list. In 2025 he earned his first Grammy for his own album Church, confirming his status as one of the most essential contemporary music creators.
