About this Event
Join us for a hands-on brewing class dedicated to one of the most celebrated varieties in the coffee world: Gesha.
In this session, we’ll be exclusively brewing reserve-level Gesha coffee that highlights the pinnacle of flavor clarity, complexity, and terroir. You’ll learn how to apply key concepts like strength and extraction to dial in your brews with intention and precision, using the Corvus pour over recipe as our foundation.
You’ll leave with practical tools and techniques to replicate café-quality results in your own kitchen, as well as a sharper sense of what makes these exceptional coffees taste the way they do. More than just a brewing tutorial, this is a chance to connect with a community of home brewers and build confidence in your ability to prepare world-class coffee at home.
In this class, we'll be practicing with a size 01 Hario V60, an excellent brewer for preparing smaller servings. The smaller brewer allows for a higher degree of precision and positions the brew as a tasting experience of a remarkable varietal, rather than your morning cup of caffeine.
Some prior familiarity with brewing pour overs will maximize your experience in this class. Coffees featured in images are not necessarily the coffee used during the class.
