- One day indoor Round Robin style open tournament
- 21st March from 12:45pm until 5:30pm
- Cardiff City House of Sport, Clos Parc Morgannwg, Cardiff, CF11 8AW
- The sports hall is hardcourt
There are only 8 spots available meaning each team is guaranteed 7 games each!
Firstly, to register your team for the event email me your team name and the name of your captain to: [email protected]
I will then provide the payment details for your team to secure your spot in the tournament.
The entry fee will be £100 per team.
The games are divided into 7 rounds and all teams will play once per round.
Each game will last 18 minutes meaning every team will get a little over two hours of pitch time over the course of the day!!
After a game finishes it is important that both teams leave the pitches as quickly as possible due to the short gaps between games.
If a team is late for their game they will concede 1 point every 2 minutes of game time missed.
All games will officially start and end on the whistle (games may start before the first whistle if both teams agree).
There will be no continuation of play beyond the sound of the second whistle and ties are allowed. However, if the disc is in flight at the sound of the second whistle the game will stay live until it is caught or play becomes dead. I want to see those buzzer beaters!
There will be no points cap for games.
The points system used to determine the tournament winner is as follows:
A win earns 3 points.
A draw earn 1 point.
A loss gets you a big fat zero.
Should there be a tie for first place at the end of the games, first place will be determined by goal difference.
If there is still a tie, this will be settled by the team with the most goals scored over all games.
If there is STILL a tie, the winner will be determined by the result of the game between the tied teams played earlier that day.
If there is still a tie then first place will be shared between the teams, however the prize will be given to whichever team wins a game - best of three - of rock paper scissor.
