About this Event
Join us at St. Mary's Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for the Archdiocesan Corpus Christi Procession. Following Mass, Archbishop Alexander K. Sample will solemnly consecrate the entire archdiocese to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and impart a Papal Blessing granted by the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, in honor of our Cathedral’s 100th anniversary. The procession will then proceed escorted through the streets of Portland, concluding with final benediction on the Cathedral’s front steps.
All parishes and schools in the Portland metro area are asked to participate together in this single, metro-wide procession. Catholics from outside the Portland metro area are encouraged to attend as pilgrim groups to the Cathedral, as they are able.
Participants may receive a plenary indulgence granted by the Vatican in honor of the Cathedral’s centennial. We invite you to join this growing annual tradition alongside thousands of Catholics from across the region.
