The Cornell Chorale’s fall concert, “Passage of Dreams,” invites the audience on a musical journey exploring the universal theme of “Dreams.” Dreams inspire our hopes, shape our aspirations, and awaken the courage within us to pursue meaning in our lives. Through this program, the Chorale seeks to capture those ideas in song, offering moments of reflection, imagination, and joy. The concert features a vibrant selection of global choral works, highlighting the artistry of composers from America, Taiwan, Norway, South Africa, Italy, and beyond. Together, these diverse voices illuminate the ways in which music connects us across cultures and traditions, while celebrating our shared humanity.
Guided by Chorale Director Dr. Yen-Hsiang Nieh and guest conductor Dr. Jo-Michael Scheibe, Professor Emeritus at the University of Southern California and renowned international choral leader, the ensemble will present an inspiring and unforgettable evening of choral artistry for the Cornell community.
