Corey Harris is a guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and bandleader who has carved out a distinctive place in contemporary blues. After beginning his career as a street musician in New Orleans and spending a formative year in Cameroon, West Africa, Harris developed a sound that blends traditional acoustic blues with influences from reggae, soul, rock, and West African music. A powerful singer and accomplished guitarist, he has performed around the world and earned acclaim for both his interpretations of blues classics and his original songwriting. With one foot in tradition and the other in innovation, Harris remains a truly unique voice in American roots music.
Jen Tal is a rhythm guitarist, songwriter, and award winning vocalist based in Charlottesville, Virginia. She is celebrated for her soulful voice, emotional depth, and stylistic versatility. With a sound that weaves together soul, R&B, and jazz, Jen captivates audiences through her original compositions and inventive mash-ups of familiar favorites. Her performances are marked by authenticity, rich musicality, and connection with her listeners.
