About this Event

DANCE IMPROVISATION WORKSHOP IN LISBON

Learn to move freely to music in 90 minutes (no experience needed)

If you:

— feel awkward moving around other people

— get stuck and don’t know what to do with your body

— think “I can’t dance” and don’t even try

— feel tension and stiffness in your body

— overthink instead of moving

— want more freedom, but don’t know how

THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU

Why this happens:

We’re used to judging ourselves from the outside.

At some point, it feels easier not to move at all than to “do it wrong.”

Most people don’t dance not because they can’t, but because they’re afraid of looking awkward, making mistakes, or being judged.

As a result:

— the body stays tense

— confidence doesn’t build

— movement stops feeling enjoyable

WHAT THIS WORKSHOP IS ABOUT

This is not a dance class and not choreography.

— simple exercises to get you out of your head and into your body

— working with tension and fear of movement

— improvisation without “right” or “wrong”

— a safe, non-judgmental space

WHAT YOU'LL GET

— reconnect with your body

— reduce fear of making mistakes

— feel confidence through experience (not theory)

— understand how to move without memorized routines

— more freedom and ease in your body

— a feeling of “I’m okay moving the way I am”

FORMAT

— suitable even if you’ve never danced before

— small group (up to 15 people)

— practice-focused, minimal theory

— supportive atmosphere

WHY US

— 16 years of dance experience

— 10 years of teaching

— focused on real body blocks, not just teaching moves

If nothing changes, the tension and lack of confidence won’t go away on their own.

This workshop is aboutfeeling free in your body, not “learning how to dance.”

Limited spots (up to 15 people)
