Understand the value of coaching approaches for them and their work setting.
To appreciate the move from what’s the matter with you, to what matters to you, and how WMTY is the basis of a coaching approach.
Develop their personal skills, knowledge and confidence, values, and dispositions in having care navigation conversation, based on WMTY and coaching principles.
Appreciate the value of shared decision making and how to support it.
Enhance attendees feeling of value and self-worth at work.
Who can attend?
This introduction has a broad appeal across all levels of expertise and experience, but is specifically designed for frontline support staff like receptionists, care navigators, health care assistants and support staff. No prior knowledge necessary, but some preparatory reading will be supplied, and will enhance the session.
