About this Event

2025 was a crazy year! And 2026 seems to be following the same pattern. There were many highs and lows for alot of us, and yet it seems like we still lack the practice to process those experiences in a way that feels easy and authentic to who we are. This gathering is primarily a writing workshop inspired by 2 poetry books (Down 2 Urth; Soulful Green) written by DeVonte Roberts. The facilitator will walk you through 3 different writings activities that are designed to encourage personal reflection about yourself and your environment. This is a chance to bring yourself, a friend or family to sit down and honor those moments in a lighthearted, creative setting. We will provide the writing materials, snacks and some free raffle giveaways. Last but not least, this event is FREE.
