Over 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease, including over 120 thousand Hoosiers. But there is hope. Join the Alzheimer’s Association, Thrivent, Purdue Extenstion-St. Joseph County, and Alzheimer's and Dementia Services of Northern Indiana on Monday, March 30 as we explore the latest advances in treatments, discover local care resources, learn about healthy life habits, and how to plan for future cargiving needs. Come with your questions and experiences. Coffee and donuts provided courtesy of Thrivent. Pre-registration is requested.
Speakers include:
- The Alzheimer's Association will present the latest advances in treatments and answer questions
- Judy Riboni, Alzheimer's and Demetia Services of Northern Indiana, will share information and local resources about where those living with dementia and their caregivers can find support
- Beth Evans, Purdue Extenstion Health and Human Sciences Educator, will share abaout healthy life habits which can protect your mind
- Adam Scheerer, Thrivent, will review important planning steps and considerations for long term care needs
