About this Event
Ever wonder how to turn seasonal produce into simple, delicious meals?
Join us for a live cooking demonstration led by Marian, a chef whose work is rooted in supporting local farms and building more connected, accessible food systems. Through her work, she's helping make local food more visible, valued, and approachable, and you're sure to leave with new inspiration for cooking with seasonal ingredients.
This interactive demonstration will feature produce from Folks Farm in Fort Collins, highlighting ingredients that thrive in Northern Colorado during the summer season. Along the way, you'll learn practical tips for selecting, preparing, and enjoying fresh local produce at home.
Your ticket includes food samples, a recipe card, and a curated swag bag to take home.
When purchasing your ticket, you'll also have the option to pre-order a produce box from Folks Farm for pickup after the workshop. A limited number of additional boxes will be available for purchase day-of while supplies last.
If you'd like, you can also choose to donate your produce box directly to the Food Bank for Larimer County, creating a simple way to support both a local farm and a neighbor in our community.
In the spirit of strengthening our local food system, proceeds from the workshop after ingredient costs will be donated to a local food justice nonprofit.
