Sacred Sourdough is a hands-on class all about how to bake sourdough loaves. We will discuss the practical and technical side of sourdough bread baking as well as the ways that bread baking is an intuitive and sacred experience of daily life. In this class you willReceive the gift of a developed sourdough starter that Ashley has replicated for you from her own so you may begin at home right away.
Learn the basics of starter management and all the steps necessary to be successful at sourdough bread baking.
Be given sample baking schedules that teach you how to incorporate the sourdough process into your daily life and work routine.
Mix your own dough in class and take it home to practice baking your first loaf at home.
Taste samples of sourdough bread baked fresh in the oven during class.
Feel prepared because you will get a detailed recipe booklet that includes recipes, process images, and resources that will support and guide you as you continue on your sourdough journey.

Each class you will receive starter, recipes, hands on experience, demonstrations, and shared conversations to help you understand the alchemy of sourdough.
