Join us for a cookbook sale and baking demonstration at the Goodyear Branch Library on Saturday, Dec. 6!We will have curated cooking/baking kits, cookies, and books for sale, just in time for the holiday season. These will make great gifts! 🎄🍪
The sale runs from 10am-3pm with prices ranging from $1-$5. Proceeds go to the Goodyear Branch Library for upcoming programming and activities.
Additionally, we are thrilled to host Goodyear Heights baker Katie Mertz, who owns and operates Jamtooth Baking Co., for a live baking demonstration at 11am!
Katie will be making an almond-filled Dutch speculaas cookie called Gevulde Speculaas. She has perfected the treat after making it for years, but it was recently published and popularized in the cookbook “Sweet: Desserts from London's Ottolenghi” by Yotam Ottolenghi and Helen Goh.
Samples will be available to savor!
Attend the sale, stay for the demo, and enjoy delicious desserts made by the Friends of the Goodyear Library and Jamtooth Baking Co.
