Cook Like Bakehouse 2: PIZZA

Want to learn an easy way to make your own pizza at home, without the need for a pizza oven? Join us for a two-hour cookery class at Bakehouse, where we'll take you through the process of making Detroit-style pizza - deep-pan deliciousness with a thick, bready base, rich tomato sauce, and your choice of other toppings.

Suitable for total beginners but also fun for cooks with a bit of experience, we'll be mixing and baking our own focaccia bread dough, a recipe which can also be adapted for regular bread-making for sandwiches, toasties etc.

• Cook Like Bakehouse is a new programme of pay-what-you-can weekly cookery classes at Bakehouse, a pay-what-you-can cafe in Great Yarmouth
• We want to empower people in our town with money-saving, nutrition-boosting cookery skills
• All dishes prepared will be vegan, though we cannot completely guarantee that there will be no cross-contamination with dairy products or other allergens, even if not listed as an ingredient
• No need to bring anything except yourself!
• Suitable only for those aged 16 and over
• It's free to book, but we would hugely appreciate a donation if this is something you're able to do
• Similarly, please tell us if you book but are then unable to make it, as places are limited and we want to make sure every class is full
