About this Event
A small mend for a fraying social fabric
Something feels off.
Public life feels more fractured. Conversations feel more fragile. Many of us sense it - it’s harder to talk across differences, easier to stay guarded, and tempting to withdraw altogether.
Conversations for Humans is a simple response to that reality.
This gathering creates space for something steady and human: people sitting together at small tables, listening well, and speaking honestly, without debate, performance, or pressure to agree.
This is not a workshop.
It’s not a lecture.
And it’s not a networking event.
It’s a lightly structured, small-group conversation designed to make it easier to show up as yourself.
We’ll begin together as a full group. Then you’ll move into small tables guided by thoughtful prompts and simple conversation agreements. The structure is there to create safety — not intensity. You won’t be put on the spot, and you’re never required to share more than you’re comfortable sharing.
The goal isn’t consensus.
The goal is connection.
If you’ve been feeling the distance in our public life, or simply craving deeper, more grounded conversation, this is a chance to practice something different.
