About this Event
Conversation with Salisbury Seniors: Staying Independent at Home: Smart ways to age well in Salisbury
Many older people want to stay living at home for as long as possible - safely, confidently and with the right support.
This conversation will explore practical, everyday ways to remain independent and connected in your community. We will be keen to hear from attendees about what ageing well looks like to them and barriers to achieving this.
You’ll hear from local services and organisations about what ageing well at home looks like today, and learn about small changes that can make a big difference to daily life.
What we’ll explore
- Simple ideas to support safety, mobility and wellbeing at home and in the community
- The importance of staying socially connected as we age
- How local services can support independence at home
- A clear overview of where to go for help and information
The session will include local speakers and community representatives, along with time for discussion and questions.
