We’re pleased to invite you to a special afternoon of conversation and a book signing with local author Rebecca Morrison, co-hosted by Bijan Ghaisar Library and Pars Place, in conversation with Termeh Rassi.
Rebecca Morrison is a lawyer and writer whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, NBC News, and more. She will discuss her debut novel, The Blue Dress—a heartfelt and uplifting story exploring identity, friendship, family expectations, and self-acceptance through the eyes of a young Iranian American girl navigating change and belonging. Inspired by the author’s own life, the novel offers a moving and relatable reflection on embracing one’s true self.
Rebecca will also share insights into her creative journey, the inspiration behind the book, and the important themes woven throughout the story, followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
