The 2025 Convergence of Intentional Communities (CIC) is a three day event happening post Labor Day Weekend, Sept 1-4 at the Twin Oaks conference site in rural central Virginia. This convergence is designed to poll experienced communitarians for what services they need from the existing IC networks and what types of actions they can take on their own bilaterally. We can explore various questions about how to support each other. For example, are we settling for ICs being comfortable places to live, when we could also be working together to build a more just and reasonable country? This is the second time this event has taken place and is being co-organized with the Foundation for Intentional Community (FIC). This event immediately follows the Twin Oaks Communities Conference, which is the longest running conference on international communities in the nation, with over 40 different ICs represented and about 200 participants.
Both events are family friendly, camping event in rural Virginia. Twin Oaks community hosts this event at our fully equipped conference site. For more details and tickets please see https://ic.org/convergence
