Shannon O'Connor holds an MFA in Writing and Literature from Bennington College. She has published poetry and fiction in Wordgathering, Oddball Magazine, The Rye Whiskey Review, 365 Tomorrows, and The Alien Buddha Press and others. She is the chairperson of the Boston Chapter of the National Writers Union, and the President of Toastmasters General at Massachusetts General Hospital. She considers herself a fiction writer, but began as a poet, and that is where her roots grow. She can be found reviewing books from the point of view of her hen purse on Substack, Ms. Hen's World.
