The Fort Worth Camera School presents a new series. Control the Light: A Three-Part Lighting Experience, a comprehensive and hands-on experience designed to elevate your understanding of light.
This is a three class workshop! You can pick and choose which classes you would like to attend based off of your interests. However, class space is limited!
You will learn the simple techniques to get started using off camera flash and we'll begin by making sense of transmitters, stands & modifiers (umbrellas, soft boxes, etc). Then, we will demonstrate & show you just how easy & effective using one light setup for off camera flash can be for your photo sessions. Ready to take control of your lighting? This is a dynamic, three-part experience designed to transform how you see and use light.
Class series lecture:
Start with a 3-hour interactive lecture, learning essential lighting techniques designed to help photographers understand and confidently control light using a single strobe. You’ll learn how to shape, direct, and modify light to create dynamic, professional-looking images in a variety of scenarios. Topics include light placement, power control, modifiers, and how to balance ambient light with flash. Perfect for beginners and intermediate photographers, this session builds a strong foundation for mastering lighting with simplicity and intention.
