About this Event
This is a free one-day course delivered by THT Norfolk for all practitioners promoting sexual health in Norfolk.
Aim:
- An introduction to contraception and reproduction for non-cliniciansÂ
Outcomes: (participant should be able to)
- Recognise the types of contraception available
- Identify what influences the contraceptive choices people make
- Explain dis/advantages of the most commonly used forms of contraception
- List local processes for accessing a termination
- State where to access contraceptive services in Norfolk
- Explain the role of Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC)
Lunch is not provided, although tea and coffee are available and there are shops nearby. Free parking is available on site . Please follow the signs the the FIELD PARKING. The Training Lounge is located in a seperate building at the rear of the main Independence Matters building. Please arrive from 9:45 to sign-in.
